The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University, the Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District, and the Bureau of Economic Geology at The University of Texas at Austin are launching the third phase of a study to better understand groundwater interactions in the Trinity Aquifer in southern Burnet County.

Residents and well owners in Spicewood and surrounding communities are invited to learn about new research on the Trinity Aquifer in southern Burnet County and how to participate in the next phase of the study.

If you own a well in the area, we want to hear from you! Volunteer your well for a groundwater measurement to help researchers map groundwater flows wthin the study area.
