The Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors Program will being accepting online applications for their 10th cohort beginning on March 1st, 2026.
This opportunity is open to students who will be entering 9th-12th grade in the 2026/2027 academic year (September 2026), i.e., a current 8th grader may apply. To apply, students do not have to be a current Texas 4-H member, but he/she must join a local 4-H club (and become an active 4-H club member) if accepted. Those accepted will start their journey by participating in one of two 4-H2O Leadership Academies (traveling educational tours). These are scheduled for June 7-12 and June 14-18.
Important Dates:
March 1, 2026 – Online applications open
April 15, 2026 – Online applications close
May 1, 2026 – Applicants notified of acceptance status
June 1, 2026 – $300 program participation fee due
